Arik Levy

Arik Levy was born in 1963 in Tel Aviv. After he concluded his education in 1991 as an industrial designer at the Art Centre Europe in Switzerland, he won a Seiko Epson competition and was invited to Japan in order to implement a few projects there. After that he designed numerous set designs, amongst others for the Finnish National Ballet. Today Arik Levy lives and works in Paris. Since 1997, together with his partner Pippo Lionni, he has been the creative head of Ldesign, an office that explores the limit between design and art. Ldesign realises projects in the fields of industrial design, product development, corporate identity, packaging design, stage setting, set design and interior decorating; for clients such as Vitra, Baccarat, Cartier, Zanotta and Dietiker. Many works from Arik Levy are award-winning, and were to be seen in exhibitions and galleries throughout the world. Well-known museums have included his works in their collection.
