Fabiaan van Severen

Fabiaan Van Severen was born in 1957 in Belgium. The trained painter is today active as a designer, and designs furniture, bags and interiors –for his own collection “May 17” and for clients such as Indera, Wow, Auping or Dietiker. One of his highly regarded interior design projects is Fort Napoleon in the Belgian coastal resort Ostende, which has been converted into a museum. Van Severen’s works have already been awarded the Henri van de Velde Prize and the East Flanders Design Award.
